Biography - Keith Sheppard

Keith Sheppard is an emerging artist who is currently exploring the universe that binds us through the mask. While sculpting with plaster, Keith injects a design sensibility and meticulous construction, inspired by human dynamism, to produce what he calls, " Organic Mechanisms."

His first exhibition yielded much attention as a featured artist at the 2004 Queen West Art Crawl as well as Media attention from The Toronto Sun.

In addition to sculpting, Keith has worked as a graphic designer/technical illustrator since his graduation from The Ontario College of Art & Design in 1995. He is also an accomplished percussionist who draws much of his inspiration from music.

Keith was born in Newfoundland, and raised in Ontario. He currently lives and works in Toronto. Studio EMC2 is his first solo exhibition.
